The paper submission for the annual contest “Young Lighting Scientists” is open!
CIE NC Russia invites all young researchers to take part in the International contest of scientific papers in the field of light and lighting.
ABOUT THE CONTEST
The Russian National Committee of the International Commission on Illumination ("CIE NC RU") holds an annual International Contest for young specialists, students and postgraduates specializing in the field of light and lighting within the framework of the Interlight Russia | Intelligent building Russia exhibition.
In 2023, 43 papers from contestants from 14 universities in Russia, China, Turkey and Japan took part in the Contest. The jury included representatives of CIE, VNISI, TPU, MPEI, MARHI, Ogaryov Moscow State University, DVFU and other Universities from Russia, China, Turkey, Japan, Thailand, Slovenia and India.
PARTICIPATION
Registration and submission of the entries for the Contest will start in May 2024 on the website of the CIE NC RU. The Contest is open to students of Russian and foreign Universities, postgraduates, PhD students, applicants, young scientists and specialists in the field of light and lighting (not older than 35 years). The language of the Contest is Russian/English. Participation in the Contest is free of charge.

All papers submitted to the Contest are subject to a blind review by the Programme Committee.
SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS
The best papers submitted for the contest will be recommended by the Organizing Committee for publication in the journal Light & Engineering, included in Scopus and WoS, and will be presented at the final round of the contest at the Exhibition Interlight Russia | Intelligent building Russia in Moscow on 20 September, 2024. For those finalists who will not be able to attend the award ceremony in person, there is an opportunity to make a video presentation.
