8th Light Symposium 2022 - LS2022

This is an annoucement for the 8th Lighting Symposium, which is organized in part by The Danish Lighting Centre, the CIE National Committee of Denmark.

The LS2022 symposium will be a hybrid live and virtual event, held at the Copenhagen Campus of Aalborg University and online on the September 21 - 23 2022. The aim is to bring together researchers, professionals and industry that, through knowledge-sharing across different scientific fields, can propose new ways of living with light: ways that consider the needs of people and the planet, and rethink the approach to lighting design in both research and practice.

Paper Submission:

Authors are encouraged to contribute to the conference by submitting reflective articles on projects, research and results, case-studies, lighting design and applications in the lighting industry.

Abstract submission is open until January 31, 2022.

Topics of interest include the following:

  • Daylight benefits and optimization
  • Light, health and behaviour
  • Urban lighting and sustainability
  • Lighting technologies and circular economy
  • Methodologies in Lighting Research and Education
  • Sustainable solutions – tools and standards in the design process

Abstracts must be submitted through the conference submission electronically system by January 31, 2022. The papers must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference. The papers will be peer reviewed and the proceedings of the conference will be extended versions of selected papers that will get published in a TBD journal.
