Published irregularly since 1903, with a minimum frequency of every four years, these proceedings capture the latest research and developments in light and lighting, colour and vision, photobiology, and image technology. The Proceedings of the CIE (International Commission on Illumination) have been registered as an international series with the ISSN no. 3061-015X (print), 3061-0168 (online). Starting with CIE 2025, all scientific volumes of the Proceedings of the CIE will be submitted to Scopus for indexing in their scientific databases.
